Grace M. Lawton is the newest associate attorney to join the firm. She is starting her practice in estate planning, asset protection planning, long-term care planning, elder law, and probate estate administration. Grace is licensed to practice law in all Mississippi courts and is a member of the Mississippi Bar Estates and Trusts Section and Family Law Section. She is excited to join the Columbus and Golden Triangle community and expand her practice in the future.

Grace currently serves as the president of the Lowndes County Bar Association and the Golden Triangle Young Lawyers Division.

Education

Grace graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in May of 2020. While in law school, Grace served as the president of the Public Interest Law Foundation and as a student attorney in the Child Advocacy Clinic and MacArthur Justice Center. In May 2017, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Social Work, emphasis in gerontology.
